Jangmin always loved horrific and beautiful stories. He began his journey as a science fiction writer because he could no longer put off the stories he wanted to write.
He majored in chemistry in college and in graduate school to receive a doctoral degree. He mainly conducted research in structural biochemistry related to tRNA.
Jangmin debuted as a writer when he won the Grand Prize in the seventh Korea Science Fiction Award in the Short Stories and Novellas category.
He makes use of a wide variety of topics and ideas and plans to continue writing horrific and beautiful stories that hurt the readers and leave a long, uncomfortable aftertaste.
