Mokha Moon (문목하)

Mokha Moon spent her teenage years in denial, thinking that fiction-writing was just a hobby and that she never wanted to become a writer. She used to write till the very last sentence only to get rid of the story and forget about it. But the stories kept coming to her for over ten years and she finally decided to give herself a chance and began writing in earnest.

Mokha graduated from college with a degree in education but did not work for long the that field and at times translated materials related to education. She has published SF short stories and novellas in Crossroads under a different pen name. Around the same time she sent her first full-length work of fiction to a publisher and they published it. The stories she wrote around this time tend to reach across many different genres. She became a writer in 2018 with her first novel Eversible (돌이킬 수 있는).

Mokha uses genre characteristics as tools to drive the story. In her stories it often happens that the characters get involved with one another, events develop, and then the protagonist(s) are confronted with hidden facts. Mokha is interested in altruism, sense of purpose, commitment without resentment, people who are left behind, and stories of life that goes on after the world is swept over by a tragedy. She usually writes full-length novels.
